Numerical simulation of explosive properties of ethylene-air in flameproof enclosure with interconnected structure under pressure piling

In order to investigate explosive properties of ethylene-air premixed gas in flameproof enclosure with interconnected structure under pressure piling, a 161.5 mm × 250 cylindrical and 500 connected by partition hole (inner diameter 15 mm) were studied. A mathematical model the fluid dynamics combustion reaction was selected perform numerical simulations this using finite volume method. Numerical revealed that maximum explosion Cavity B significantly higher than A; rate rise combustible much A. Results study have practical theoretical significance for design installation enclosures.
